welcome to the East Devon District Pool League, 2009/10. For those of you who missed the AGM on Wednesday 26th August, I am in the middle of updating the fixture list, but here is a copy of the league dates.

During the AGM, A proposal came in about colours of balls. In the world rules it states that red and yellow balls or numbered balls must be used. Some teams have marbled balls, which is not within the World 8 Ball Pool rules. In this case, the home team must ask the away side if they mind playing with the non-standard balls. You have the right to refuse to use them, in which case the home side must use the standard balls provided with the table.
Food was also mentioned. It was proposed that ALL VENUES provide food, unless a written letter has been sent to the committee, who decide in individual's cases. Following this, The Broadclyst has requested an exemption, and so will NOT be serving food. On their away matches, the opposing teams do not have to provide food for them.
